Pimozide is a diphenylbutylpiperidine antipsychotic (Figure 2A) that was shown to inhibit the growth of breast cancer MCF-7 cells and our previous study found that pimozide competes with L-lactate for binding to oxygen-regulated protein N-myc downstream-regulated gene 3, an upstream signal of RAF1.32,33 Based on these reports, and the discovery in the UALCAN and Kaplan-Meier database, we simulated the binding of pimozide to RAF1 using Schrodinger software. Here, RAF1 is linked to breast cancer.
