Serum CA 19-9 > 100 U/mL was more frequently found in patients with cHCC-CCA than in those with HCC (11.1% vs. 2.2%, p = 0.029), while serum AFP > 400 μg/L was more frequently observed in patients with HCC than in those with cHCC-CCA (36.7% vs. 20.0%, p = 0.050). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and cholangiocarcinoma.
