A previous study examined the impact of proliferating CD8 + T cells in breast, colorectal, ovarian, gastric, pancreatic, and renal cell carcinomas and found that only colorectal cancer patients with elevated CD8 + /Ki67 + density are linked with favorable overall survival (OS), while increased proliferating CD8 + T cells is associated with poor prognosis in renal cell carcinomas [43]. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and hereditary clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
