This study investigated the mechanism of TREM2 affecting the neuronal repair in 6‐OHDA‐induced mouse models of PD and demonstrated that TREM2 overexpression can potentially promote the directed differentiation of iPSCs into dopaminergic neurons by activating the TGF‐β1 pathway, thereby enhancing neuronal repair in 6‐OHDA‐lesioned mice. This evidence concerns the gene TREM2 and Parkinson disease.
