In conclusion, these results indicated that signal pathway of Cx32/miR155/NLRP3 served as a central regulator of tubular pyroptosis and AKI after renal I/R, which was the first time to report the correlation between TECs’ intracellular GJ and tubules pyroptosis during renal I/R, and it was modified by the bystander effect of GJ about delivery of miR155-3p among adjacent cells. Here, NLRP3 is linked to acute kidney injury.
