To evaluate the potential anti‐inflammatory effects of calcitriol in this PD model, we measured the mRNA level of the M1 markers CD32, iNOS, and TNF‐α (Figure 5a), M2 phenotypic markers CD206, Arg‐1, and IL‐10 (Figure 5b), and microglial marker IBA‐1 (Figure 5c) in mesencephalic tissues using real‐time PCR.
