Hypothyroidism is induced by CTLA-4 inhibitors in 2.5–5.2% of the cases, by PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors in 3.9-8.5% and by the combination of anti-CTLA-4 and anti-PD-1 in 10.2–16.4% of the patients [37]. The gene discussed is PDCD1; the disease is hypothyroidism.
