Consequently, based on diverse bioinformatical approaches, KIF2C was found to be a key hub gene for progression of HCC with its broad involvement in various “Gene Ontology” (GO) and “Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes” (KEGG) pathways containing mitotic nuclear division, nuclear division, chromosome segregation, mitotic sister chromatid segregation, mitotic spindle, spindle pole and kinetochore [152]. The gene discussed is KIF2C; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
