APC and neoplasm: showed in Apc-mutant and wild-type mice that antibiotic eradication with a triple therapy regimen consisting of clarithromycin, metronidazole, and omeprazole after short-term H. pylori-infection, reduces tumor formation in the small intestine and colon to the level of non-infected controls, and prevents the H. pylori-induced phenotype of intestinal inflammation and barrier impairment.
