SLU7 and ovarian serous carcinoma: Our previous transcriptome (GSE135886) analysis show that 33 of 134 splicing factors were overexpressed in serous ovarian carcinoma (SOC) tissues compared with fallopian tube (FT) tissues.[22] These splicing factors include PQBP1, which accounts for 11% of all genomic alterations (with 6.8% of gene copy number amplification and 6.0% of mRNA high expression) in SOC cases according to cBioPortal datasets (Figure1A).
