In gland diseases, we found that, compared with normal control, MerTK expression is 37.4 % higher (p < 0.0001) in aldosterone producing adenoma and 25.4 % higher (p < 0.0001) chronic kidney failure, while is 10.1 % lower (p = 0.0049) in hidradenitis suppurativa (Fig. 4C). The gene discussed is MERTK; the disease is chronic renal failure syndrome.
