Median monthly intake of acute medication decreased from 55 doses (IQR 29-80.5) to 24 doses (IQR 15-40) at 3 months and 18 doses (IQR 11-30) at 6 months (p < 0.001).
Conclusions
We showed that 6 months of preventive treatment with CGRP-mAbs led to a significantly better effectiveness of acute treatments, paralleled by decreased monthly migraine days and acute treatment intake. The gene discussed is CALCA; the disease is migraine disorder.
