Chaudhry et al. showed that the treatment with CAR-NK cells directed against the B7-H3 antigen (B7-H3 CAR-NK) with the immunosuppressive TGF-β resulted in a reduction in tumor cell lysis by approximately 28% (percentage of lysis without the presence of TGF-β: 89.73 ± 2.44% vs. lysis in the presence of TGF-β: 61.75 ± 3.42%; at E:T = 20:1). Here, TGFB1 is linked to neoplasm.
