Adenosine A3 receptor selective agonist, MRS5890, prevented signs of cisplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy, such as mechanical allodynia, spontaneous pain, and sensorimotor deficits, highlighting the efficacy of adenosine A3 receptor agonist in neuropathic pain induced by cisplatin [60] (Figure 2). Here, ADORA3 is linked to peripheral neuropathy.
