These studies identified some genes [8,40] that may play a role in the development of neuropathy, including ACE, MHTFR, GST, GLO1, APOE, TCF7L2, VEGF, IL4, GPX1, ENOS, ADRA2B, ALR2, GPx-1, CAT, MIR27a, MIR499a, MIR146a, and MIR128a [41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70]. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and neuropathy.
