We processed all 243 surgically excised tissue specimens by a paraffin-embedding technique using classical HE staining and special immunohistochemical staining techniques to highlight epithelial characteristics, the presence of perilesional inflammatory processes, perilesional neovascularization, hormonal receptors, the presence of perilesional stroma and the involvement of tumor proteins in cell proliferation. The gene discussed is NR4A1; the disease is neoplasm.
