PTK2 and lung carcinoma: Given the reported role of the FAK pathway in promoting vinorelbine resistance in lung cancer cells [35], and the induction of membrane blebbing in human endothelial cells by IMB5046, vinorelbine, and combretastatin A-4-phosphate, leading to the vessel disruption and damage through FAK activation [36,37], we propose that the potent antitumor activity of Sora/Vino likely occurs through its targeting of the FAK signaling pathway.
