While a great amount of work has focused on H- and K-Ras, too little has been directed toward the study of N-Ras structural and conformational characteristics, although oncogenic N-Ras is the major cause of malignant melanomas, thyroid carcinomas, and some types of leukemia [12,50], with Gly12 being one of its most important oncogenic mutations [12]. This evidence concerns the gene NRAS and thyroid gland carcinoma.
