In this study, we undertook the inaugural exploration of the anti-proliferative properties of involucrasin B. This research uniquely contributes to the existing literature by being the first to specifically examine the inhibitory effects of involucrasin B on cell proliferation and its modulation of the TGFβ/SMAD2-3-4 signaling axis in CRC cells. This evidence concerns the gene SMAD2 and colorectal carcinoma.
