TP53 and cancer: Figure 8A and Figure 9A illustrate that the expression level of TP53 mRNA significantly increased in CMC cells treated with MPOBA at a concentration of 200 μM for 48 h compared to the control. In Figure 8B and Figure 9B, it is evident that the mRNA expression level of the BCL-2 gene significantly decreased, while the mRNA expression level of the BAX gene was dramatically increased in cancer cells treated with MPOBA at a concentration of 200 μM (Figure 8C and Figure 9C).
