In all CHF patients, SLC2A4 skeletal muscle expression was associated with higher SOCS1 (r = 0.56, p < 0.04) and in trend with higher SOCS3 (r = 0.5, p = 0.067) and STAT1 (r = 0.47, p = 0.08) expression but not with TNF (p > 0.3), IL-10 (p > 0.4) or TGFB1 (p > 0.8) in PBC. This evidence concerns the gene STAT1 and congestive heart failure.
