Given improved overall survival,56,57 PARP-i therapy is now recommended by NICE for first-line maintenance of BRCA-altered ERBB2-negative early BC or advanced OC,59,60 and also in OCs with HRD,61 given the recently demonstrated overall survival benefit.58 We found incorporating PARP-i therapy for advanced OC and ERBB2-negative early BC made RRSO and/or RRM cost-saving for BRCA1 and BRCA2 PV carriers.
