Several studies have reported the implication of METTL3 in the reproductive system, including physiological processes, such as spermatogenesis, follicle development and gametogenesis, as well as pathological processes, such as asthenospermia, assisted reproductive failure and cancer (cervical cancer [CC], endometrial cancer [EC],17 ovarian carcinoma [OVC]18 and germ cell tumour [GCT]).11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. This evidence concerns the gene METTL3 and granular cell tumor.
