SNHG1 modulates RRS1 in BC cells by competitively binding to miR-641, and the overexpression of RRS1 can restore the cellular functions mediated by SNHG1. Moreover, ribosome biosynthesis is one of the major functions of RRS1, and whether SNHG1 can mediate BC ribosome biosynthesis and its downstream molecular mechanisms through RRS1 needs to be thoroughly investigated. The gene discussed is RRS1; the disease is breast cancer.
