Taken together, the neurobehavioral studies indicate impairments in hippocampus-dependent spatial learning and memory, deficits in fine motor control and sensorimotor function, hyperactivity, and reduced anxiety in Thoc2Δ/Y mice, phenotypes that are similar to the THOC2 exon 37-38 deletion patient (Supplementary Fig. 2h).
