Both EC5026 and anti-PD1 each significantly increased the percentage of infiltrating T lymphocytes (CD45+/CD3+) and cytotoxic CD8+ T cells (CD45+CD3+CD8+perforin+) in the MB49 bladder cancer tissue compared to control (SI Appendix, Fig. S2). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
