We found that inhibition of LRRK2 kinase activity in L2-PD astrocytes prevented astrocyte reactivity, as shown by reduced GFAP, AQP4, and C3 intensity (Figure 2, G, H, and J; P < 0.001), and increased form factor (Figure 2I; P < 0.01). Here, LRRK2 is linked to Parkinson disease.
