Through analysis of PRGs between normal and NASH samples, we found that most of differentially expressed PRGs were caspase family members (CASP6, CASP9, CASP3, CASP4) and inflammasome sensors (NLRP7, NLRP9, NLRP2, NLRP1, NLRP6). This evidence concerns the gene CASP4 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
