MICAL2 and neoplasm: The biological process of GO indicated that MICAL2-related genes were mainly involved in stroma-related functions of tumor tissue, such as epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT), fibroblast proliferation, myoblast differentiation, extracellular matrix organization, and cell migration, in addition to being enriched in immunity, including T cell differentiation and response to cytokine (Fig. 2A).
