Current molecularly targeted therapies for glioblastoma are directed at EGFR, mTOR, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), MEK, phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K), and BRAF. Combined therapies, or monotherapies, can be used [22], and this suggests possible new pads for CAPNON treatment. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is glioblastoma.
