The osteogenic regenerative ability of impaired PDLSCs derived from periodontitis tissues could be reversed by Osthole, in which the upregulated histone acetylases MOZ (monocytic leukemia zinc finger protein) and MORF (MOZ-related factor) specifically catalyzing acetylation of Histone3 lisine9 (H3K9) and Histone3 lisine14 (H3K14) were the key regulators in the Osthole rescued osteogenesis (Fig. 2D) [60].
