In the univariate analysis, factors such as age exceeding 80 years (OR, 1.6; 95% CI 1.12–2.28, P = 0.01), intertrochanteric fractures, the presence of diabetes, and admission with low albumin levels were found to be associated with an increased risk of SII levels equal to or exceeding 1621.92 (Table 2).
