BCL2 and lung adenocarcinoma: To this scope, using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) assay we analysed the cell viability of two different human cell lines known to be permissive for human oncolytic adenoviruses and expressing high levels of the Bcl-2 protein, i.e., the lung adenocarcinoma A549 (Fig. 8A) and the triple-negative breast adenocarcinoma MDA-MB-436 (Fig. 8B).
