Libbrecht et al. (2019) detected eight out of nine (89%) intramuscular myxomas to have a GNAS pathogenic variants (62.5% p.R201H and 37.5% p. R201C) with frequency of the mutant allele ranging between 5% and 28% using TruSight Tumor 26 panel [22]. This evidence concerns the gene GNAS and myxoma.
