Increased expression of ITGAV has been reported as a prognostic marker in diverse cancer types (breast cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, glioblastoma, myeloma, hepatocellular carcinoma, skin carcinoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma, esophageal adenocarcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma and so on)9,10,48,55–62. This evidence concerns the gene ITGAV and glioblastoma.
