Increased expression of ITGAV has been reported as a prognostic marker in diverse cancer types (breast cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, glioblastoma, myeloma, hepatocellular carcinoma, skin carcinoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma, esophageal adenocarcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma and so on)9,10,48,55–62. The gene discussed is ITGAV; the disease is breast carcinoma.
