We observed that CML exposure results in a significant increase in the frequency of BCR::ABL1− neutrophils, macrophages and monocytes (Fig. 1g–i; Supplementary Fig. 2i–m), and a rise in the absolute cell number of both macrophages and monocytes (Supplementary Fig. 3d–f). This evidence concerns the gene BCR and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
