In the current study, which represents the largest study of blood biomarkers in ATTR‐CA to date, anemia, hyponatremia, high urea, hyperbilirubinemia, and troponin‐T >56 ng/L were all independently associated with mortality, after adjusting for NT‐proBNP and estimated glomerular filtration rate. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and anemia (phenotype).
