STRADB belongs to the STE20 family of serine/threonine kinases, knockout of STRADB was found to enhance CD8+ T cell infiltration in a tumor model of triple-negative breast cancer [46], and the interaction of STRADB with X chromosome-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP) could preserve cells from apoptosis [47]. The gene discussed is STK24; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
