Our study also demonstrated a more pronounced depleted phenotype of CD4+T cells in obese CRC samples, characterized by high expression of immune checkpoint molecules such as CTLA4 and TIGIT. Interestingly, we observed higher expression of PDCD1 in CXCL13+CD4+T cells in obese CRC samples. The gene discussed is CXCL13; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
