CXCL10 and neoplasm: Given the validated role of CXCL10 in viral infection [37–41, 96, 97], tumor immunology [36, 98, 99], and autoimmune arthritis [51, 100], the balance between CXCL10 and its processing enzymes in inflamed tissues is pivotal for fine-tuning the effects of CXCL10 in (patho)physiological settings.
