Bronchitis was reported in 16 studies from 14 published articles: Fewer patients (5.98%, 264/4412) in the anti-IL-5 treatment group developed bronchitis in contrast with those (8.64%, 341/3945) in the placebo group (RR: 0.72, 95%CI: 0.61–0.84, P = 0.815, I2 = 0.0%), and it seemed less possible for patients administered with reslizumab to have bronchitis, relatively speaking of the other 2 sub-treatment groups (RR: 0.59, 95%CI: 0.42–0.83, P = 0.394, I2 = 4.7%). Here, IL5 is linked to bronchitis.
