As shown in Fig. 8G, K, both N-cadherin and p-AKT were reduced in melanoma cells in the tumors containing YAP1-deficient CAFs and upregulated in the tumors containing YAP1-overexpressing CAFs, suggesting that AKT signaling in BRAF-mutant melanoma cells was, at least partially, regulated through the N-cadherin-N-cadherin interaction between melanoma cells and CAFs.
