To better understand the phenotype of COVID‐19‐related T‐cell infiltration and to analyse whether different T‐cell subsets (i.e. CD4+ or CD8+) distinctively infiltrate in different brain regions, we performed immunohistochemical analysis for the most prevalent immune cell populations, including, CD4+, CD8+ T cells and CD68+ microglia/macrophages (Figure 3). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is COVID-19.
