We found that, mechanistically, depleting DDX17 in hepatocytes alleviates hepatic steatosis, inflammation and fibrosis in mouse models of NASH induced by both HFD and methionine and choline‐deficient l‐amino acid diet (MCD), while the overexpression of DDX17 in hepatocytes markedly promoted lipid accumulation. Here, DDX17 is linked to steatosis.
