Previous studies described that granzyme-expressing cells are increased in lesions of patients with inflammatory skin diseases, such as AD, psoriasis, allergic contact dermatitis, and pityriasis rosea, compared with healthy skin, as well as plasma granzyme B levels being higher in patients with AD and psoriasis than in HC, with a positive correlation with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score. The gene discussed is GZMB; the disease is psoriasis.
