HLA-B and COVID-19: After adjusting for confounding factors, including age and sex, using a multiple logistic regression model, the most robust finding was a significant association between A*11 (OR 3, 95% CI 1.5–9,2, P= 0.001) and HLA-DRB1*14 (adjusted OR 2.75, 95% CI 0.98–21.8, P = 0.01) with COVID-19 severity, but not for HLA-B*38 (adjusted OR 4, 95% CI 0.98–16,74, P = 0.06).
