Although the precise mechanisms and interactions involving lncRNA DLEU2 and ROR1 are unknown, the resulting increase in BMI1 and ALDH1 may partially explain the increased ability of BC cells with the high level of lncRNA DLEU2 and ROR1 to facilitate tumor growth, distant metastasis, or resist the chemotherapeutic treatment relative to BC cells lacking lncRNA DLEU2 and ROR1. This evidence concerns the gene ROR1 and breast cancer.
