INS and diabetes mellitus: The prescribed diabetes treatment was also associated with likelihood of rapid weight gain: adults prescribed non-insulin treatment had a reduced likelihood compared with those who had no pharmacological treatment (aOR 0.68 [95% CI = 0.67 to 0.69]), while those prescribed insulin had an increased likelihood (aOR 1.16 [95% CI = 1.14 to 1.18]) (Figure 5).
