PPARG and constipation disorder: Given the association of constipation with aquaporins and SCFA [20, 21], we focused on PPARγ, which is involved in fatty acid release, transport, and storage such as lipoprotein lipase and the fatty acid transporter CD36 [22], and a regulator of lipid metabolism and an identified key gene in the AS-IV target network (Figure 4B and 4C).
