In girls (278 with normal weight, 126 with overweight, and 61 with obesity), from normal weight to obesity, plasma leptin and LAR increased significantly (p < 0.001) (Figures 1A and 1C), while plasma adiponectin decreased without significant differences (p = 0.483) (Figure 1B).
